Traditional Authorities

There are seven (7) Paramountcies in the Region representing the Ga, Kpone, Ningo, Pramprm, Sudoku, Shai and Ada.  Under the Traditional Councils are Divisions and Sub-Divisions forming an effective network of local governance entrusted with purely traditional functions concerning with purely traditional functions concerning customs.  At the apex of the Traditional Authority system is a Regional House of chiefs based at Dodowa.
