Location of the Region

The Region covers an area of about 4540  sq Kilometers in the South –central part of Ghana with a coastline of about 225 kilometers stretching from Langba I the West to Ada-Foah in the East. It shares borders with the Central Region to the west, Eastern Region to the north and Volta Region to the east, and occupies a mere 1.4 percent of th total land area of Ghana.
