Tourism

Greater Accra Region has enormous tourism potentials.  Apart from the numerous institutional set ups ideal for the promotion of educational tourism, the Region also has some important monumental structures such as the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, Du Bois Memorial Center and the Osu Castle among others that are of important aesthetic value.  Cruising facilities on the Volta near Ada, the Monkey sanctuary at the Shai Reserves and the numerous traditional festivals are also significant attractions for investment in the Tourism sector within the Region.
